On Spec Reading

Went to an event last night where the On Spec staff read from the latest issue. It was nice to finally meet the editors who have sent me so many kindly rejections over the years.

If you don't read On Spec I strongly encourage you to subscribe to it. It is a Canadian magazine, based out of Edmonton, Alberta. Every issue has a nice selection of speculative fiction ranging from deep/touching stories to the horrific. Something for everyone!

Plus you'll get to read the story I sold to them, which will appear in a future issue.

Story sold to On Spec

Just signed and sent the contract! This is my first sale to them. I'm pretty excited because they are a local magazine and I've been reading (and submitting to) them for years.

Their website http://www.onspec.ca/home.html

The story is titled "A Ragman's Vow" but I'm not sure in which issue it will appear.
